[What can it treat?] [When is it available?] [Fees & Consultation]
Ayurveda, or “knowledge of life”, is a natural healing system that has its roots in ancient India, where it has been practised for thousands of years. The purpose of Ayurveda is to heal and promote longevity by maintaining the balance of the individual’s body and mind.Ayurveda is eternal, because it has no beginning, no end and it is very vast and everlasting.
In Ayurveda, massage is recommended as a daily practice. Regular massage relaxes the muscles, tones up the body, induces deep sleep, relieves tiredness, improves the circulation and overall, the general health of the individual. Ayurvedic massage places high importance on the “body constitution”, or Prakruti, which is formed by the individual combination of the three Doshas: Vata, Pitta & Kapha. In balancing our constitutional type, the use of medicated oils play a relevant role.
Head, neck & face Ayurvedic massage, is a relaxing treatment focused on the stimulation of the Marmas on the scalp, neck & face. It promotes memory, improves blood circulation and awakens the senses.
Abhyanga, is a full body massage with warm medicated oil. It induces sleep, strengthens the immune system and overall, it is beneficial for the entire body.
